Central Jersey Mechanical, Inc., a plumbing and fire sprinkler contracting company,
was formed by Thomas F. Conlon, III and Peter P. Blewett, Jr. in 1993. It has grown into an operation that currently
employs, on average, thirty-five people at a time.

Central Jersey Mechanical services most
of New Jersey, as well as some eastern areas of Pennsylvania. The firm is a union
shop that also has the capability of bidding and working on open shop projects in
certain areas. The company is bonded in the
amount of $4.5 million and has a $3.5 million New Jersey DBC classification rating.
Most of the companys work
consists of various types of commercial, industrial and institutional projectsboth
public and private. Commercial projects
include many major stores and restaurants located in shopping centers and malls throughout
New Jersey. The company also has extensive
experience in renovations and/or additions to both hospital and school facilities.
Business volume has steadily increased
from $250,000 in 1993 to just over $4,300,000 in 2001.
Recently, the company implemented the full computerization of its estimating
operation, priming itself to meet future industry needs and continued business
growth.
